Campaign Brief’s The Work 2022: Ogilvy claims Network of the Year ahead of Dentsu, BBDO + DDB

Ogilvy has climbed up to the #1 spot in the network ranking of Acceptances to Campaign Brief’s THE WORK 2022. With a total of  89 Acceptances Ogilvy scored 8 more than Dentsu (81) who ranked #2. In equal #3, on 74 Acceptances, are BBDO and DDB, followed by TBWA at #5 with 73 Acceptances.

 

Ogilvy has jumped BBDO, DDB and TBWA this year, moving up from #4 in THE WORK 2021 to be crowned Network of the Year in 2022. Ogilvy’s strongest performing office was Ogilvy India who ranked #7 in APAC with 33 Acceptances. Other strong contributions to the network’s #1 standing were Ogilvy Thailand with 22 and Ogilvy Taiwan (18). Ogilvy Australia also chipped in with 10 Acceptances and Geometry Ogilvy Japan with 6.

Dentsu had a very strong network performance in THE WORK this year with 81 Acceptances and improving from #5 network overall last year. Led by Dentsu Creative Australia with 27 Acceptances (the #9 ranked agency overall in APAC), other meaningful contributions came from dentsuMB Taiwan (13), Dentsu Redder Vietnam (10), Dentsu One Bangkok (8), Dentsu One Taiwan (6) and Dentsu Jayme Syfu Philippines (5).

2021’s Network of the Year winner BBDO has ranked equal #3 this year with DDB. With 74 Acceptances BBDO’s top performing agencies were CHEP Australia (23), BBDO Guerrero Philippines (18), Colenso BBDO New Zealand (18) and BBDO China (9).

DDB’s equal #3 ranking is in large part due to the success of DDB Mudra Group India. As the #4 ranked agency overall in APAC, DDB Mudra scored 41 Acceptances of the newtork’s total of 74 in THE WORK 2022. DDB Australia was the other strong contributor for the network with 24 Acceptances, which ranked them in the top 15 agencies overall.

At #5, and only 1 Acceptance behind BBDO and DDB, are TBWA with 73 Acceptances. Their star performer this year was TBWA Australia (25). Other top performers for the network were TBWA New Zealand (14), TBWA Hong Kong (11), TBWA Singapore (11) and TBWA Shanghai (8).

The #6 ranked network in THE WORK 2022 is Leo Burnett with 63 Acceptances. Leo Burnett Group Thailand was their highest ranked agency with 23 Acceptances followed by Leo Burnett Australia (14), Leo Burnett Malaysia (8) and Leo Burnett Group Manila (7).

Just behind Leo Burnett in #7 position are VMLY&R with 62 Acceptances. VMLY&R Australia was the main reason behind the network’s success with 43 Acceptances. Also contributing were VMLY&R New Zealand (12) and VMLY&R Thailand (7).

#8 network with 55 Acceptances is Wunderman Thompson. The network’s Bangkok agency leads the way with 22 Acceptances, followed by Wunderman Thompson Australia (13), Wunderman Thompson Philippines (12) and Wunderman Thompson Taiwan (8) who also performed well.
