Blockhead announces new additions in Sydney

Having just completed about 150 shots for Grant Sputores Sci Fi spectacular “I am Mother”, Blockhead is excited to announce some new additions to its Sydney studio.

The very experienced VFX producer and crowd favourite, Sam Hall (left), takes the reins as EP, bringing a remarkable knowledge of the intricacies of digital magic to the team. She’ll be working closely with Josephine Mackenzie, EP/MD to foster the roster and build the business.

One of the worlds best flame artists KFab, aka Karen Fabling (right), has also joined Blockhead as lead artist. Her eye for visual perfection and creativity is truly inspiring. She is currently finalising two beautiful spots for Steve Ayson with DDB and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne due to air later this month.

Lead CG artist Steve Casey rounds out the trifecta. Having worked in commercials and film, most recently Lego and Peter Rabbit, he was instrumental in creating some of Blockhead’s amazing shots in the recently released Netflix film, ‘I am Mother”.
