Bestads turns the advertising game into an actual game with launch of Ultimate Agency ~ UPDATE: CB thanks Cummins&Partners, MELBOURNE for this clever April Fool’s story
The advertising industry has always been fiercely competitive, but international creative site BestAds is taking it to the next level with Ultimate Agency. The first ever advertising industry fantasy league, Ultimate Agency puts you in the boss’s chair.
UPDATE: This elaborate April Fool’s Prank was brought to you by Cummins&Partners, Melbourne.
Creative Agency – Cummins&Partners, Melbourne
Creative Director – Heath Collins
Creative Person – Thom Vizard
Art Director – Eli Swart
Designer – Ellena Mills
Creative Technologist – Andrew Rovenko
Collaborator – Liam Jenkins
Collaborator – Chris Ellis
Facilitator – Lynchy
Just as other fantasy leagues allow you to assemble your own all-star team, Ultimate Agency lets you pick from the best-of-the-best in the industry to create your dream creative department.
As the CCO of your own agency, you’ll be able to build your own team, using actual advertising creatives from all over the globe. Then, using their real-life statistics, (awards, accolades, BestAds rankings) you’ll compete against your peers to see who has the ultimate agency.
Every week you’ll have the chance to buy or trade in new creatives, as well as drop underperformers. But remember, your ultimate success depends on how many shiny things you collect, so don’t be afraid to off-load old friends for cross-town rivals or a junior on the rise.
There’s no room for loyalty because the player with the ultimate creative team could find themselves on a 7-night all expenses paid Cannes experience for two, thanks to Campaign Brief.
The inaugural season kicks off soon, so join up by May 23rd and start making all your (ad-related) fantasies come true.
Sign up and see the full rules at ultimate-agency.com.au.
