Barney creates a fruit smoothie in Bankwest’s new ‘Less Lazy Home Loans’ campaign via Union

Bankwest and Union have today announced the launch of the latest Home Loan campaign, ‘Less Lazy Home Loans’, via the ‘Bank Less’ brand platform.

Tapping into Bankwest’s key pillar of everyday empowerment, this integrated campaign demonstrates how Bankwest’s multiple offset accounts can help customers reduce the interest they pay on their home loan.

The campaign TVC includes Bankwest character, Barney, who uses precise moves to create a fruit smoothie. His impressive smoothie-making skills show how easily money can be sliced into multiple offset accounts, ensuring his money is working hard for him.

Says Paul Vivian, chief customer officer at Bankwest: “People don’t want to always be thinking about their banking, but they do want to know they’re getting the most from their bank.

“By providing the tools to seamlessly get their offset accounts set up, our customers can get on with life knowing that their home loan is an active one. If they want to, customers can virtually set up their offset accounts and forget, feeling confident their money is in the right place, working hard for them to reduce home loan interest.”

The campaign has launched in Sydney, Perth and regional WA, and extends across TV, BVOD, radio, social media and digital, with fresh fruity vibrance consistent across the formats.
