Australian activewear brand Rockwear appoints 72andSunny to redesign its brand

Rockwear, one of Australia’s leading activewear companies, has appointed 72andSunny as its brand transformation partner. 72andSunny will be responsible for developing a new brand strategy, holistic brand identity, and a launch campaign for a new brand platform.

The appointment comes after an exhaustive search of Australian design and creative agencies but without a competitive pitch.

Says Natalie Lenton, GM, Rockwear: “We were really impressed by the quality and brand experience of the 72andSunny team but most importantly they felt like an agency that we could work in close partnership with”

Says Ross Berthinussen, president, 72andSunny ANZ: “The Rockwear brief really spoke to us, the company has been incredibly successful to date and is now looking to transform the brand and business to attract a new generation of customers and fuel the next stage of growth. We also have a great connect with the Rockwear team, it feels like we share a lot of the same values and will have a heap of fun working together.”

The appointment follows other recent wins by 72andSunny for Who Gives A Crap, Four Pines and Edith Cowan University.
