Australasia’s Goodoil ranked #1 in Bestads Production Company Rankings 2020; FINCH ranked #3; Sweetshop at #6
Australasia’s Good Oil Films has been ranked the world’s number one production company in the 17th Annual Bestads Rankings, released today. Good Oil, with offices in Australia and NZ, was ahead of Bangkok’s Mum Films, trans-Tasman company FINCH, US-UK based Biscuit Filmworks and US-UK based Smuggler.
US-UK based MJZ is in equal 6th spot alongside Europe-US based Pulse Films, UK-US based Somesuch, Europe-US based Stink Films and NZ headquarted Sweetshop (with offices in Australia, US, UK, China and Thailand). US based Hungry Man is ranked 11th.
Australian director Kim Gehrig from Revolver was ranked #4 Director in 2020, with Australia’s The Glue Society (via Revolver) at #6. Australasian directors Kyra Bartley and Christopher Riggert (both from FINCH), Adam Stevens, Fiona McGee and Dave Wood (all from Good Oil), and Damian Shatford from Sweetshop all made the top 20.

The Rankings also include the top advertising agencies, executive creative directors, creative directors, creatives and client companies.
