A young director on the March at The Producers

2022 has been designated as the Year of Talent by The Producers. To kick things off The Producers have signed rising star director Cameron March.

While March is still young, he has already crammed some seriously impressive industry experience onto his rap sheet. After studying at Griffith Film School, March undertook an intensive course in Bologna, Italy conducted by the International Filmmaking Academy. He then realised the best way to learn the ropes in production world is to just throw yourself into it. So he accepted a position on a US television series shooting in Canada, before returning to his home town of Brisbane to pursue his filmmaking dreams.

March has created a number of short films and achieved noted success in various film festivals. One of his shorts —an autism awareness piece—starred acclaimed actor Hugo Weaving and won a Silver Dolphin at the Cannes Corporate Awards.

With his signing to The Producers stable, March is now fully focussed on directing TVCs/content and creating the very best work he can for his clients. While his infectious energy and enthusiasm are reflective of his young years, his level of industry knowledge and his collaborative working style bely his experience. Clients love his ability to make a narrative leap off the screen and he boasts a visual style that would be the envy of many more experienced directors.

Says March: “I’ve been a longtime fan of The Producers and the Directors they work with. So being part of their team now is a thrill and I’m excited to create some top notch work with them.”

March’s reel is sure to impress so get in touch with Tanya, Noelle or Victoria at The Producers to arrange a viewing.
