13cabs is the Official Travel Partner of… well, lots of things in new campaign via Thinkerbell
Launching this week, 13cabs the largest taxi network in Australia, has become the Official Travel Partner of those everyday situations when you need a ride, fast. Multiple executions across TV, catch-up TV, digital and social media will announce 13cabs as the Official Travel Partner of those all-too-familiar moments – from getting a mate home safely, to meeting mix-ups, to the quick stop to change shoes after a day at the races.
Says Rebecca Fyson, head of marketing, 13cabs: “13cabs is Australia’s most popular taxi option by far, according to a recent Choice survey. This work is designed to build on that Passenger base and remind our audience of all the different times people hail and request 13cabs. Our cabs have improved, our Drivers have improved, our prices are comparable, and our 13cabs App proudly carries 4.8 stars in the iOS app store as rated by over 30,000 Passengers; so it’s a great time to let people know 13cabs is there if you need a quick ride.”
Says Jim Ingram, chief creative tinker: Thinkerbell: “The challenge to our director, Matthew McCaughey, was “show our audience we understand them, and give them a smile” and I think he’s nailed this brief. This idea is relatable and likeable and is designed with executions that will be implemented across loads of different types of screens. So next time you CBF’d riding into work, you know what to do…”

At last something that makes you like 13cabs…… just a little bit.
Good. Fun.
Finally Thinkerbell seems to get it right for 13cabs. Way better than that serge garbage.
Funny. Good job.
Some is good and some isn’t but gee whiz Tinkerbell make a lot of work.
The guys have done a really good job at identifying everyday logistical opportunities to then highlight 13cabs as the answer. The pieces are really funny and relatable. Well done Thinkerbell.
I haven’t caught a taxi in quite a while so I hope that the level of customer service on the ground level has improved to make these content pieces an exact representation.

Pfft. You can definitely spot all these positive comments flooding in from the agency.
Come on pal, this is actually great work. Its horribly predictable for you to assume the positive feedback comes from the agency. Its a pretty boring and cynical comment really. Thinkerbell did a great job on this, and I’m not from the agency.
I agree with @Not from the agency. They’re obvious, predictable and fine. But calling them funny, really!
I also agree with @not from the agency. I guess this is what they spend their PR money on. To protect their work.
I’m with Old CD – this makes me like 13 CABS, just a little bit. I really like this. Finally some personality and some real human truth.
Great ads for Uber. Well done all.
